DMS-59 (Dual Monitor Solution, 59 pins) is Generally used for Computer Video Cards
It Provides two DVI or VGA Outputs in a Single Connector
An Adapter Cable is Needed for Conversion from DMS-59 (digital) to DVI (digital) or VGA (analog)
And Different types of Adapter Cables Exist
The Connector is four Pins High and 15 Pins Wide, with a Single Pin Missing from the Bottom Row

The Advantage of DMS-59 is its ability to support two high resolution displays
Such as two DVI Single Link digital channels or two VGA analog channels, in a single DVI-size connector
Compact size lets a half-height Card Support two high Resolution Displays,
And a full-height Card (with two DMS-59 connectors) up to four High Resolution Displays
The DMS-59 Connector is used by ATI, NVIDIA, and Matrox for Video Cards Sold in Lenovo Thinkcentres
Viglen Genies and Omninos, Dell, HP, and Sun Computers
Some Confusion has been Caused by the fact that Vendors label Cards with DMS-59 as supports DVI
But the Cards have no DVI Connectors Built-in
Such cards, when Equipped with only a VGA Connector Adapter Cable
Cannot be Connected to a Monitor with only a DVI-D Input
A DMS-59 to DVI Adapter cable needs to be used with such Monitors
The DMS-59 Connector is Derived from the Molex Low Force Helix Connector
Which could be found in some earlier Graphics Cards
These ports are similar to DMS-59, but have all 60 pins present, whereas DMS-59 has one pin (pin 58) blocked
A connector plug with all 60 pins (such as a Molex 88766-7610 DVI-I splitter) does not fit into a properly keyed DMS-59 socket

Shipping - when can I expect my ordered item delivered?
Local Gauteng shipping is 1 - 2 days. We pride ourselves in getting ordered that are done before 11am to be shipped the same day.
National is between 2 - 4 days.

What is PC SPOT Product Warranty like?
General product warranty for items that are international, is 12 months. Refurbished items carry a 12 month warranty. This warranty applies unless otherwise listed by the supplier. All warranties are carried by the item supplier and PC SPOT is not involved in warranty decisions or processes. If you have a warranty issue, PC SPOT will let you know the procedure to follow:
1) in an email to info@pcspot.co.za, describe the issue, along with any supporting information, the item purchase date and order number
2) PC SPOT will create a RMA request to the supplier (1 - 2 days)
3) A request to courier the item back to the supplier will be initiated by PC SPOT
4) the supplier will investigate and test the item in question and a decision will be made: Repair, replace or refund (7 - 14 days). PC SPOT will communicate the decision and arrange for return of the item to end user.
5) should the item be found to be in working order, or mis-used or defective caused by not following working instructions, and the like, the supplier shall institute a restocking fee or refuse in totality to replace or refund the product. The return courier fees and assessment fees (around R250) will be charged to the end user
How do I check stock?
We provide the latest daily updated stock from the supplier, which is listed on the product page. Although we try our best to keep this as live as possible, sometimes the stock feed may not sync or show incorrect stock units.
For items that are 10 units or less, we suggest contacting us to check stock prior to ordering (info@pcspot.co.za or whatsapp 068 01 45678).

How do I make payment on PC SPOT?
There are 2 payment options available. We have partnered with Payfast to offer credit card, secure EFT and other payment methods for customers on PC SPOT. This is a secure portal run by Payfast - a well established and trusted payment platform in South Africa - for online payments. Payments done through Payfast are cleared with 5 minute to 1 hour, before we can start confirming you order.
We also have an EFT bank transfer option should you wish to deposit funds directly into our bank account. Please note EFT payments do have a clearance time-window of 24 hr - 48 hrs, before we can confirm payment and start working on your order.
What is the ordering process and timelines?
1- An order is placed and we receive the order request
2- we acknowledge receipt of the order within 12 hours, as well as payment confirmation, and mark as processing - if payment is still outstanding the order will remain in pending stage - only once payment is confirmed does it move to processing
3- We confirm stock with suppliers and will communicate with you if there is stock issues. If the stock is not available we offer a full refund, and cancel the order. Once stock is confirmed, we fulfil the order by securing the stock
4- a courier is booked, and the courier information is emailed to you with the waybill number
5 - the courier pickups the ordered items and delivers to you.
From ordering to courier booking, if ordered before 11am Monday to Thursday, courier is booked the same day, with shipping done same or next day.
